We create beer that you can drink and enjoy by the pint. Every beer we serve is balanced and derived from the unique characteristics we achieve through fermentation and hop character. Our constant pursuit of greatness means you can enjoy a rotating mix of traditional beers, wild ales and sour beers. We have beers for those who want to be adventurous and those who prefer to stick to the classics.
Just because we can do something doesn’t mean we do, but curiosity and experimentation are critical to discovery in the lab and the Long Beach Beer Lab is no different. Our brewery wants to take all of you on a quest to discover an experience of experimentation in a curious science of suds. As such, we are always searching for new yeasts, flavor profiles and techniques that can elevate our craft.
The Long Beach Beer Lab takes tremendous pride in creating beers that are interesting, but not fussy or weird for the sake of being weird. Our understanding of flavor, balance and how to get there with the appropriation of oak, funk and tartness is a distinct quality that you can taste in every sip. We don’t have a marketing budget. We make beer and sell that beer so we can make some more. Everything is spoken through the quality of our product and the people who are passionate about us, our beer and our food.
Our methodical attention to detail, passion for discovery, expert palates and technical, scientific acumen has created something beautiful. It may seem simple, but we believe our beer is special — a reason to celebrate — and we are so grateful for the opportunity to share it with all of you.
